When did you know you wanted to be an actress?
I can't remember a time when I didn't perform. Having theater parents may have influenced that... the first time I performed was for Christmas services when I was so young I barely remember it - I sang "Away in a Manger". I can only recall standing up in front of the congregation with my mother sitting in the first row mouthing the words. The rest is a blur!
What attracted you to Re-Works: The Fabulous 80s?
The chance to finally work with friends Antonio Minino and David Stallings!
One guilty pleasure:
Only one? Well, let's see... as much as I hate most pop music I'm going to admit a love for "One Bad Apple" by the Osmonds. It was the number one song the week I was born and if I ever need to put a smile on my face - it's one of the songs I listen to!
If you could get anyone to see the show, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
How cool would it be to have Cyndi Lauper show up? She's an inspiration to the story!
Don't miss Re-Works: The Fabulous 80s, part of MTWorks' BENEFIT WEEK, September 10-14, 2014 at The Theater at the 14th Street Y.
