Maureen O’Boyle [The Picture of Dorian Gray, Good Lonely People, The Oath] earned an Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Play nomination for her performance in the role of Mom in Robin Rice Lichtig’s Allie’s Appendix. This play also earned a nomination for Outstanding Playwriting for a New Script.
Misti Tindiglia, recipient of the Festivity’s Outstanding Actress in an Evening of One Acts in 2012 for Acts of Love, and a 2011 nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress for the MTWorks production of Carol Carpenter‘s Good Lonely People, has earned an Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Play nomination for her performance in the role of Dola Dunne in Gabrielle Fox’s The Home. This play has also earned nominations for Outstanding Playwriting for a New Script, Outstanding Direction of a Play, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Play, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Play, Outstanding Ensemble in a Play, and Outstanding Overall Production of a New Play.
Russell Jordan, recipient of the Festivity’s Outstanding Actor in a Staged Reading Award in 2013, earned an Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical, Play with Music, or Musical Event nomination this year for his performance in roles of Orpheus, Stump Preacher, and Newscaster in Oliver Trager’s Dig Infinity! This play has also earned nominations for Outstanding Overall Production of a Revival/Adaptation/Sequel (previously published/or adapted script), Outstanding Band and/or Musician, and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical, Play with Music, or Musical Event.
